About the Role
This vacancy is for a Program Manager in the Economic Development Administration within the Department of Commerce.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Manager, you will serve as the principal advisor to the Area Director on the management and direction of major EDA regional programmatic and program support activities and issues.
- →In this capacity, the incumbent, in consultation with the Area Director, provides oversight and major problem resolution for economic development program activities and issues.
- →Recommendations provided by the incumbent are considered and evaluated by the Director for overall compatibility with organizational goals and objectives.
- →In this regard, the incumbent provides critical and invaluable management counsel to the Area Director.
- →This position is also advertised under EDA-CRO-DE-26-13054939, which is open to Merit Promotion/Direct Hire/Delegated Examining eligible applicants.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
- ✓You must successfully pass a background investigation.

- ✓You MUST provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation with a course by course listing along with your application.
