About the Role

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Human Resources Management, Strategic Partnerships & Communications Division located in the following locations: Washington, D.C., Indianapolis, Indiana Minneapolis, Minnesota Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

What You'll Do

  • Joining CBP's Office of Human Resources Management (HRM) as a Program Manager will allow you to utilize your skills in driving high-impact strategic communications, data-informed program improvements, and initiatives that advance CBP's human resoures goals.
  • In this role, you will partner with leaders and operators across CBP components to shape priorities, strengthen accountability, and deliver innovative solutions that support recruitment, hiring, and retention across the agency.
  • This position starts at a salary of $125,776.00 (GS-01, Step 1) to $163,514.00 (GS-14, Step 10).
  • Major Duties: Overseeing the comprehensive planning, strategic direction, and timely execution of program activities, ensuring seamless alignment with organizational goals and mission requirements.
  • Leveraging metrics, data analytics, and advanced data visualization tools to identify performance deficiencies, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Identifying program goals and objectives requiring additional emphasis, strategically develops key performance measures to track progress, and expertly manages all program resources as valuable corporate assets to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive and adaptive strategic plans, innovative methods, and effective strategies that encompass the full breadth of HRM programs, products, and support activities.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S.
  • Citizen to apply for this position.
