Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Information and Technology, Management and Governance Directorate, Records and Information Management Division, located in Ashburn, VA or Washington,DC. - →In this Program Manager position, you will become a key member of a team of Homeland Security professionals, applying new hypotheses and concepts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Program's operations.
- →Typical work assignments include: Directing the work of subordinate supervisors in all aspects of information technology Records and Information Management.
- →Reviewing and evaluating the organizational structure to certify that all positions promote an optimum balance between economy, efficiency, and utilization of skills.
- →Ensuring that assigned programs and processes comply with internal controls and appropriate precautions to prevent fraud, waste, and misuse of resources.
- →Planning for short and long-term operations for the Directorate, focusing on interactions and support from various personnel across OIT.
- →Coordinating staff operations and events efficiently and reviewing work to ensure overall consistency with Records Management and OIT's requirements and resources.
