As an Program Manager, you will identify goals, objectives, critical milestones, and develop projects which serve as the basis for substantive changes in the organization and administration of its activities.
What You'll Do
- →Provide guidance and recommendations to strengthen and improve the delivery of the successful standardization and implementation of major field office programs, projects, and initiatives.
- →Develop and deploy field office programs that support the day-to-day operations of the field office and the administration of immigration benefits.
- →Responsible for hearing and resolving informal complaints and grievances.
- →Direct staff who perform professional, technical, and administrative work.
- →Identify significant customer service issues and priorities for the field office.
- →Design, develop, and direct programs and projects which require in-depth analysis, problem solving, conceptualizing, planning, and management to support the strategic direction of the Field Operations Directorate.
Requirements

- ✓Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
- ✓Citizenship and Immigration Services.
- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position.
- ✓You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
- ✓EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
