As a Program Manager for knowledge management, development, and training, you will oversee design, management, and evaluation of USCIS' appellate training and knowledge management programs and coordinate implementation of quality assurance program evaluations into the training programs.

What You'll Do

  • Builds and manages the agency’s appellate training, quality assurance, and knowledge management programs.
  • Assesses alignment of appellate training programs with current agency goals, policies, and laws, recommending updates and changes to those programs to maintain alignment with the agency’s policies and priorities.
  • Facilitates successful outcomes by connecting subject matter experts from the AAO and other USCIS program offices and directorates to ensure that the agency’s appellate needs are met and support its mission.
  • Creates and manages project plans for appellate trainings, document revisions, and quality assurance based on the agency’s appellate training needs and evaluates plans to improve effectiveness.
  • Provides expertise in managing virtual and in-person trainings to facilitate employee engagement and transference of skills.
  • Liaises with other training professionals in USCIS and DHS.
  • Oversees the implementation of training technology and other learning support systems for application, as well as the evaluation of the delivery of vendor training to ensure learning objectives are met.

  • Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a probationary period of 1 year.
