About the Role
About the Position: As an Asset Manager you will be responsible for developing and managing the Portland District Operations Division Asset Management Program and providing asset management technical oversight of the multi-purpose operating projects in support of Operations and Maintenance functional areas.
What You'll Do
- →Develop and execute long-term and short-term Asset Management Programs and Investment Plans aligning with agency strategic goals using risk-informed lifecycle and reliability engineering principles.
- →Lead the standardization and implementation of computerized maintenance systems (FEM/Maximo) and the Maintenance Management Improvement Plan (MMIP) across operating projects.
- →Analyze technical, maintenance, and budget data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide executive recommendations on optimizing funding, workforce, and asset lifecycle performance.
- →Align multi-year District asset plans (1-20 years) with regional and national programs, leading long-term asset planning teams and integrating power and appropriated budget processes.
- →Provide expert technical guidance to project managers and leadership to resolve complex program conflicts, improve maintenance processes, and ensure policy compliance across all civil works assets.
- →Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to extract, visualize, and track maintenance and asset performance trends.
- →Utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support data synthesis, workflow automation, or report generation.
- →Manage the MCIIP program to consolidate emerging requirements and mission risks and lead presentations at NWD to compete for funding under this program.
