The position serves as the Program Manager for Fire and Aviation Management operations in the Pacific Southwest Region. The position has responsibility for providing analytical, consultative, and operational control of the program. Works with state and international partners. What You'll Do
- →Prepares, verifies, and finalizes formal notification of funding advice incorporating national, regional, programmatic, and special requirements and guidelines.
- →Consults with the Program Manager to develop the current and out-year budget for the program.
- →Conducts on-site reviews of cooperator grant administration and financial management to assure appropriate use of funds according to the grant terms and conditions.
- →Conducts analyses of complex program issues, determining the required information and collecting data from various sources.
- →Prepares, researches, utilizes, and directs the development of specialized reports for program analyses.
- →Reviews information, reconciles conflicting data and devises new or modified methods to analyze findings.
- →Ensures operating program objectives are met through monitoring budget allocation and execution.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
- ✓Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
