This position has a primary responsibility to support the planning and operational management for all Community Care/Non-VA Care Services programs. This position provides information and analysis that influences the decisions regarding change, provides information and analysis for short and long-range planning and recommends change, recommends change in programs for improving coordination of workflow, and controls measures required to provide information to managers.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include, but are not limited to: Develops and maintains data capture and tracking tools to analyze Community Care program trends, workloads, costs, and personnel requirements.
- →Prepares and submits reports, studies, and performance metrics for leadership briefings, including Directors Daily and Weekly reports.
- →Coordinates and develops administrative documents, spreadsheets, databases, reports, and briefing materials using advanced software applications.
- →Collects, analyzes, and compiles data from multiple sources to develop reports, presentations, and recommendations for OCC leadership.
- →Researches and develops recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce program costs without negatively impacting operations.
- →Supports program effectiveness by monitoring consult timeliness, workflow processes, and quality improvement efforts for Community Care operations.
- →Analyzes workload and productivity data to support operational planning and resource allocation for Community Care programs.
- →Provides information, guidance, and referral assistance to staff, Veterans, and stakeholders regarding Community Care functions and services.
- →Coordinates with OCC leadership, service lines, and external stakeholders to communicate program findings, clarify process issues, and support implementation of operational recommendations.
- →Conducts special studies and research to evaluate Community Care programs, identify issues, and recommend operational improvements.
- →Develops project plans, establishes timelines, and evaluates program processes to support Community Care operational goals and organizational effectiveness.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, subject to change based on the needs of the facility Telework: This position may be authorized for telework.
