This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of Training, Criminal-Diversion Training Section. This position(s) primary purpose is to develop, prepare, and administer the entry-level training program for newly-hired DIs, Basic Diversion Investigator Training (BDIT). The training program familiarizes basic trainees with federal regulations and DEA policy as well as introduces numerous computer programs and databases used by DEA.
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Analyst (Training), your typical work assignments may include: Researching and analyzing federal regulations, policies, and authorizations that delegate specific responsibilities to the program.
- →Performing on-site reviews obtaining firsthand knowledge of personnel, programs, tactics, operational capabilities, and real-world event analyses to ensure training goals and objectives are appropriate and comply with guidelines.
- →Facilitating projects and tasks aimed at reviewing the budget and financial expenditures determining the return on investment for various supplemental aspects of training.
- →Developing and using spreadsheets and automated systems to collect and organize data.
