You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Auxiliaries and Special Mission Shipbuilding Program Office (PMS 325) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for all program and business management decisions on matters within the scope of the programs assigned and will perform duties in any or all phases of the acquisition life cycle.
- →You will direct the preparation, reviews and approval of contract plans, modifications and specification.
- →You will exercise final review and signature authority as delegated by the Program Manager on all technical and management correspondence.
- →You will direct the actions of a multi-disciplinary, integrated federal and contractor teams in support of program planning and execution activities.
- →You will work with Business and Financial SMEs in all phases of Program Planning, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) to identify, secure, apply and maintain resources for program/project requirements.
- →You will establish and implement management control techniques; issues management plans, instructions, and program procedures.
- →You will develop/present written and oral reports, assessments, presentations, etc. providing direction and addressing complex and sometimes controversial program/project operations and independently solve or direct resolution of technical problems.
- →You will be responsible for cost estimating and budgeting, project scheduling, configuration control, maintainability, reliability, quality control, systems and equipment interfaces, and integrated logistic support for the acquisition life cycle.
- →You will keep abreast of current trends relative to all phases of the acquisition life cycle and initiatives action to implement latest developments or innovations for assigned programs.
- →You will coordinate with the contracting officer and Office of Counsel to ensure contract specifications are designed and integrated to permit optimum resource management and prevent contract or legal problems.
- →You will represent the Program Manager interacting with senior level personnel internal and external to the DON.
