You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Navy Petroleum Office Inventory Management Division of NPO FORT BELVOIR.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as Navy Subject Matter Expert (SME) for matters related to the accounting and inventory management of DWWCF fuel and provides technical, operational, and policy support to installation and region level fuels offices ashore and afloat.
- →You will coordinate short-suspense requests with DoN vessels and DLA Energy to ensure proper approval and disposition of DWWCF cargo fuel prior to offloading fuel to meet ship scheduled maintenance and overall schedules.
- →You will serve as the Navy SME on DLA Energy systems and business processes by acting as a liaison between Navy and DLA Energy advocating for procedural and business integration changes.
- →You will coordinate and validate Navy requests for policy waivers, capitalization of fuel ashore and afloat, and retail billing issues.
- →You will serve as Navy POC, advocate and system implementation lead across the Navy for DLA Energy-sponsored petroleum systems and initiatives by supporting project leaders with technical evaluation, and specification reviews.
- →You will coordinate with Navy Information Technology SME as necessary.
- →You will perform other duties as assigned.
