This position is part of the Arctic Energy Office, Department of Energy. As a Program Advisor, you will serve as a principal advisor and senior business development lead within the Arctic Energy Office, focusing on advancing the Department's domestic energy priorities in Alaska and the broader Arctic region.

- →Veterans shape the future of energy As a Program Advisor at the GS-14 level, you will: Identifies, develops, and advances major energy project opportunities that support energy reliability, affordability, security, and Departmental priorities.
- →Analyzes complex program, policy, legislative, and regulatory issues to develop strategies, options, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- →Develops strategic partnerships with government, Tribal, utility, industry, and other stakeholders to advance significant energy initiatives and resolve competing interests.
- →Represents senior leadership in interagency and external activities and communicates and defends Departmental positions and recommendations.
- →Advises senior leadership on significant Arctic energy issues and coordinates programs and projects across organizations to support a unified strategy.
- →Develops written analyses, recommendations, briefings, and other decision-support materials on significant program and policy matters.
