About the Role
You will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (WELDER) in the STRUCTURAL SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform the work functions as directed by the Work Packaging Supervisor when assigned to a project or Shop Supervision when assigned to the shop.
- →You will accomplish assignments using a high degree of judgment and initiative.
- →You will contact the proper code or shop regarding problems including expediting information and support to complete and meet key events.
- →You will maintain contact with engineering codes, supply personnel, trade journeymen, supervisors, and project managers.
