You will serve as a PRODUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (either as an Electrical/Electronics Zone Manager or as a Sail Zone Manager) at PEARL HARBOR NAVAL SHIPYARD (PHNSY) & IMF of Detachment Guam (PDG). A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.88% will be added to the stated salary.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for supervising subordinate supervisors and military personnel who perform project assignments for repair and maintenance of ships/submarines assigned to the detachment Guam.
- →You will exercise both administrative and technical supervision over subordinates assigned to the Production Project Team.
- →You will give advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.
- →You will Initiate action to expedite and ensure the availability of special equipment, tooling, materials and outside manpower or services critical to the timely and quality completion of assigned jobs.
- →You will gather planning information on potential ship work assignments.
- →You will exercise position management responsibilities, assuring that subordinates job descriptions are current and accurate.
