About the Position: This position is located at the Anniston Munitions Center, Alabama, and serves as a Production Controller (Ammunition) responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring ammunition operations.
What You'll Do
- →Analyzes production and capacity data to identify workload trends, discrepancies, and resource shortfalls.
- →Analyzes ammunition workload, determining proper planning, acquisition, and support Performs duties such as monitor and report on the status and progress of work Manages production and workload data to support accurate reporting and operational planning.
- →Performs duties such as develop and finalize detailed Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) and hazard analysis for an installation Monitors reports for production accomplishments and scheduling issues with higher level assistance Monitors production management systems to support accurate workload tracking and operational planning.
- →Reviews assets in storage to determine which items and condition codes are candidates for renovation or demilitarization program Determines Ammunition Peculiar Equipment (APE) needed and available, including any requirement for modification or over haul Applies production policies and regulatory requirements to ensure ammunition operations comply with established standards.
- →Performs duties such as prepare and submit solicited and unsolicited bids for workload Analyzes production problems such as short falls in common delivery, maintenance operations, and shut down and other delays
