The purpose of this position is to serve as the Procurement and Resources Specialist within the Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS). Provide a variety of administrative management services essential to the operation and direction of the Government Purchase Card Program.
What You'll Do
- →Major duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as Procurement & Resources Specialist within the Readjustment Counseling Service (RCS).
- →Provides a variety of administrative management services essential to the operation and direction of the Government Purchase Card Program.
- →Provides involvement in administrative and acquisition matters concerning the utilization of government purchase cards at RCS facilities.
- →Coordinates correspondence and reporting to RCS leadership related to the use and management of Government Purchase Cards and Convenience Checks and mandated initiatives throughout RCS program operations.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm EST Virtual: This is a virtual position.
- →Virtual Work eligibility is for current VA employees that are already subject to the return to the in-person work mandate in their current position.
- →Definition of Virtual Work: Employee works outside of original hiring duty station at a VA-owned or leased space.
