This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located within the Directorate of Medical Services, Pediatric Clinic at Alexander T. Augusta Military Medical Center (ATAMMC) located in Fort Belvoir, VA. Operating hours are 0730-1600, M-F.
What You'll Do
- →Complete patient intake/screening.
- →Document accurately in the electronic health record.
- →Upload documents into the electronic health record.
- →Medication administration.
- →Answer messages within the messaging pool.
- →Provide patient education.
- →Provide pre and post procedure patient care.
- →Prepares patients for procedures.
- →Sets up necessary equipment.
- →Assist providers with procedures shave, punch, and excision biopsies; ED-C; Mohs Micrographic surgery Perform nurse-led procedures (narrow band UVB therapy, PDT, wound checks, dressing changes, suture removals) Assist providers with Laser treatments.
- →Ensures compliance with infection control protocols.
