About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Fort Hood, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Provides practical nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic with a variety of medical conditions.
- →Performing tasks such as recording vital signs, ordering labs, tracking patient’s laboratory, radiology orders and referral results to completion.
- →Administers prescribed medications with increased independence, ensuring proper patient dosages, routes, and times are followed.
- →Educates patients and families about prescribed treatments, reinforcing adherence to the medical plan.
- →Documents accurate administered medications and patient responses promptly in compliance with facility policies.
- →Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective management of patient medications.
