About the Position: Position located within Guthrie Army Health Clinic, Managed Care Division at Fort Drum NY. Salary negotiation may be authorized for those new to federal employment. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Assist the physician with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- →Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan, the nursing assessment, and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
- →Prepare medications and immunizations for administration.
- →Perform physician-ordered procedures such as injections, nebulizer treatments, and wound dressing changes.
- →Document vital signs, medication administration, treatments, specimen collections, patient complaints, and instructive education.
- →Perform referral and utilization management for specialty care within the MTF and network providers.
- →Ensure medical referrals are complete and accurate.
