About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Davis-Monthan Medical Treatment Facility, in Tuscon, AZ. A relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Obtain information from patient to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.
- →Take all vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, pain level, height, weight); perform a behavioral health screening.
- →Document patients' chief complaints and other pertinent information in the health record.
- →Provide individualized nursing care to patients based upon the physician’s medical care plan; the nursing assessment; and the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the patient.
- →Prepare procedure rooms by ensuring required equipment, consent forms, etc. are available.
- →Administer oxygen, IV fluid, and prescribed oral, rectal, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications.
- →Collect and prepare laboratory specimens according to local Standard Operating Procedures.
