About the Role
About the Position: Serves as a Licensed Practical Nurse for an overseas Defense Health Agency (DHA) Medical Treatment Facility (MTF), performing direct patient care in a Cardiology clinic. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Obtain information from patient and/or family to identify major complaints, symptoms, or reason for seeking health care.
- →Take all vital signs, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), and place EKG holter monitors.
- →Provide individualized nursing care to adult patients.
- →Assist the Credentialed Provider with various examinations and diagnostic procedures.
- →Administer oral, intradermal, subcutaneous, intramuscular immunizations to patients of all ages.
- →Perform teaching to patients and/or family regarding self-care procedures and document teaching.
- →Perform both administrative and logistical tasks as a member of the healthcare team.
