This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a Powered Support Systems Mechanic for Tripler Army Medical Center Department of Logistics, Facility Management Branch.
What You'll Do
- →Operate electrical power source and distribution equipment on to include diesel and electrical generators.
- →Make adjustments on engine and controls to maintain proper engine power, voltage, amperage, and synchronization Maintain, inspect, repair and modify electrical power generation and distribution equipment.
- →Operate manual/remote switches, circuit breakers, rheostats, and controls.
- →Energize and de-energize circuits and connects/disconnects generator units to /from load.
