The primary purpose of this position is to install, operate, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical power production equipment and associated components, electrical distribution equipment, diesel, gasoline, and/or multi-fuel engines, and aircraft arresting systems.
What You'll Do
- →Installs, inspects, and performs modifications and repairs to electrical generators both real property and mobile.
- →Perform preventive maintenance on electrical powered support systems.
- →Troubleshoot electrical power support systems such as electrical generating plants and automatic transfer switches of various design and manufacture.
- →Maintain, inspect, repairs, diagnoses and modifies aircraft arresting systems.
- →Perform after engagement inspection and certification.
- →Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rule and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- →Maintain records and documents actions.
