This job opportunity is for an POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC, position description D0324000, within the 177 MAI SQ of the New Jersey Air National Guard. This vacancy announcement is a Title 32, Excepted Service position. The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish maintenance on electronically controlled powered support equipment containing highly complex digital devices and integrated circuits.
Requirements
- ✓Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement.
- ✓This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard.
- ✓Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.
- ✓Areas of Consideration: T32-CAT 4 Individuals eligible for membership in the NJ National Guard Military Grades: AB/E-1 to SSgt/E-5 Security Clearance: Must have Security Clearance OR willing to obtain it within one (1) year of employment.
