About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as a Police Officer with the Directorate of Emergency Services
What You'll Do
- →Patrol installation to ensure safety/security of human lives and property.
- →Arrest persons committing or suspected of committing crimes on the installation.
- →Investigate circumstances where a criminal threat may exist.
- →Promote traffic safety by issuing warnings and citations.
- →Prepare written reports of case findings.
- →Collect and protect evidence, witnesses, victims, etc.
- →Protect government property, materials and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage and espionage.
- →Serve as a police patrol officer enforcing Federal criminal laws and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) involving persons and property.
- →Exercise exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the, apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
