About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base/Major Range and Test Facilities Base Civilian Personnel Workforce (DIB and MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The incumbent of this position will serve as the Visitor Control Officer/Civilian Police Officer at Radford Army Ammunition Plant located in Radford, VA.
What You'll Do
- →Oversee and manage the National Crime Information Center - Interstate Identification Index (NCIC-III) system for vetting visitors, un-cleared contractors, and Government personnel.
- →Prepare and maintain data logs and statistics on vetted personnel command review.
- →Secure crime/accident scene by conducting investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- →Enforce military, federal, state, and local criminal, traffic law and regulations.
