About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position serves as a Police Officer conducting law enforcement duties and enforcing safety regulations on a major military installation to maintain order and protect life and property.
What You'll Do
- →Complete police accident reports, to include identifying, locating, and interviewing witnesses and/or suspects.
- →Apprehend violators, obtain facts and prepare statements concerning accidents or violations.
- →Maintain responsibility and control over crime/accident scenes by conducting investigations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses.
- →Respond to and investigate emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service.
- →Secure access to installation and building to protect personnel and property.
