About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Direct-Hire Auth (Domestic DIB, MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. What You'll Do
- →Respond to emergency calls and alarms, assesses probable cause, exercises search and arrest authority, and performs initial lifesaving first aid as a first responder.
- →Collect and preserve physical evidence, conduct routine preliminary investigations, and interview witnesses.
- →Prepare case facts under established guidelines and provides clear, truthful testimony in military, federal, or state courts.
- →Operate specialized traffic equipment (radar, Lidar, breathalyzer) during patrols, conduct investigative stops, issue citations, executes high-speed pursuits when necessary, and manage traffic control points.
- →Protect personnel, tactical military assets, and high-value assets by executing comprehensive Antiterrorism/Force Protection measures to deter and deny unauthorized access, and maintains proficiency through installation AT exercises.
- →Operate National Crime Information Center terminals to transcribe data in compliance with regulations.
- →Generate standard police reports, processes fingerprints/DNA samples, and prepare administrative documentation.
