About the Role
About the Position: This position is a Police Officer (Traffic Investigator) for the White Sands Mistle Range (WSMR).
What You'll Do
- →Conduct collision investigations by interviewing witnesses, collecting evidence,and preparing findings reports in accordance with regulations.
- →Recommend new traffic plans and programs to resolve recurring congestion and enhance safety on the installation.
- →Provide testimony on traffic collision reconstructions to support criminal prosecutions and civil litigation.
- →Coordinate joint investigations with local, state, and federal partners to ensure thorough evidence gathering in cases of concurrent jurisdiction.
- →Guide other police officers at accident scenes to ensure proper investigative procedures are followed according to regulations.
