About the Role
You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVBASE POINT LOMA SEC DET.
What You'll Do
- →You will Perform a variety of routine law enforcement and security duties, such as responding to standard service calls and conducting patrols, under regular supervision while in a training and developmental capacity.
- →You will have the ability to interpret and apply established guidelines and procedures to common incidents, referring more complex situations or deviations to a supervisor for guidance.
- →You will demonstrate the capacity to learn and apply skills in traffic safety management, basic investigation, and the use of specialized law enforcement equipment and computer systems.
- →You will Independently handle a range of law enforcement duties, including investigating minor crimes, managing traffic incidents, and enforcing laws and regulations with progressively less supervision.
- →You will Exercise judgment in resolving common incidents and is expected to handle more difficult and responsible assignments as experience is gained, working towards the full performance level.
- →You will Possesse a foundational knowledge of anti-terrorism, physical security, and investigative techniques, sufficient to conduct preliminary inquiries and support higher-level investigations
