About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

- →White City is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Rogue Valley.
- →It is about nine miles north of Medford and 34 miles north of the California border.
- →Enjoy the scenic drives to either Crater Lake, Oregon's only National Park, and to the mountain resort Lake of the Woods.
- →Take a family-friendly hike to a waterfall or ride the only section of the Pacific Crest Trail that's open to mountain bikers.
- →VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
- →The Podiatrist shall incorporate the various training techniques taught within Podiatry and may apply safe and effective advanced Podiatry techniques.
- →The Podiatrist shall educate patients on health lifestyle changes including nutrition, exercise, sleeping habits, stress management, mind body techniques and other matters related to Podiatry care.
- →Duties include but not limited to: Utilizes standard medical evaluation procedures to formulate a differential diagnosis to develop an Podiatry treatment plan.
- →Provides group Podiatry as determined.
- →Documents and codes information related to patient care in the VA's electronic health care record on a timely basis following VHA policies; iMed consent shall be completed prior to Podiatry treatment where any invasive procedure occurs.
- →Communicates with other health care providers as appropriate.
- →Maintains up-to-date VHA and professional trainings.
- →Attends required meetings.
Requirements

- ✓Effective May 7, 2025, driver's licenses or state-issued identification cards that are not REAL ID compliant cannot be utilized as an acceptable form of identification for employment.
- ✓Must pass pre-employment physical examination.
- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
- ✓You may be required to serve a probationary period.
