About the Role
The position is located at the Warm Springs Service Unit at the Warm Springs Health & Wellness Center in Warm Springs, OR. The primary purpose is to serve as the recognized authority in podiatric medicine, providing comprehensive podiatric medical and surgical services. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Provides expert podiatric surgical and medical care including prevention, health maintenance, early diagnosis, complex surgical and follow up services.
- →Serves as consultant to other healthcare professionals in all matters pertaining to podiatric patient care.
- →Interviews, examines patients, reviews past medical history and request and/performs diagnostic test and examinations as necessary.
- →Educate patients on nature of illness and its treatment and any needed follow-up.
- →Document all encounters in Electronic Health Record using approved templates and formats.
Requirements
- ✓Selectee may be subject to a probationary period ESEP appointees typically serve a two year trial period U.S.
- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.

- ✓The selected individual is required to obtain and maintain medical staff clinical privileges, including any licensure requirements.

- ✓Background Investigation Requirement: This position requires the successful completion of a federal background investigation as a condition of employment.

- ✓Upon receipt of instructions, applicants must complete all required background investigation forms within five (5) calendar days of issuance.
- ✓Timely completion is critical to avoid delays in processing or a determination of unsuitability.
