About the Role
This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCMENT and will remain open until September 30, 2026. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis and qualified candidates will be considered as vacancies become available. Applications will remain on file until December 31, 2026.
What You'll Do
- →The Bone Marrow Transplant (MTU) Director is responsible for the daily administrative and clinical operations of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit Section at the Puget Sound VA Healthcare System and reports directly to the Hospital and Specialty Medicine Care Line Director.
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Admit, evaluate, diagnosis, provide treatment or consultative services to patients presenting with illness and disorders of the blood, blood forming tissues and malignant disorders.
- →Perform specialty procedures as delineated in their clinical privileges.
- →Take part in continuing medical education (as defined by licensure), and quality assurance activities.
- →Supervision, training, and teaching of the University of Washington Hematology/Oncology fellows and students who are assigned to the VA.
- →VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
