About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a PERMANENT position as a Plumber with the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Buchanan, PR.
What You'll Do
- →Performs tasks in connection with the fabrication, repair and maintenance of plumbing systems.
- →Clearing difficult stoppages in drain pipes.
- →Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and maintains gas and steam fired kitchen equipment.
- →Installs, repairs, maintains, and/or replaces, hot water supply/return lines.
- →Clears difficult stoppages in drain lines (interior/exterior).
- →Operate one or more motor vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, etc.
