About the Role
You will serve as a PIPEFITTER TRAINING LEADER in the PUBLIC WORKS BUISINESS LINE of Commander, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam.
What You'll Do
- →You will prepare, coordinate, and conduct established classroom trade theory instruction and supplemental on-the-job training for pipefitter personnel.
- →You will determines the depth of employee's trade knowledge, provides mentoring, and coordinates training opportunities to ensure skill gaps are addressed.
- →You will prepare period updates related to training records and reports to the Trades Development Program Manager; provides periodic assessments for pipefitter personnel to determine technical proficiency in the trade.
- →You will schedule and coordinate training for various shops and assures that OJT is appropriate and aligned with training plan.
- →You will train pipefitter personnel in the best methods for pipe system repairs; and skill to make repairs to a variety of pipe systems.
- →You will researches and implements leading-edge practices and techniques as well as the research of modern tools and equipment.
