About the Role
You will serve as a PIPEFITTER SUPERVISOR in the PIPE SHOP, PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will recommend approval of normal leave requests, and forward unusual requests with recommendations to higher-level supervision.
- →You will discipline subordinates and institute necessary corrective action to assure compliance with regulations.
- →You will encourage participation and give assistance to employees on filing of beneficial suggestions, cost reduction, and promotional opportunities.
- →You will ensure that necessary progress and other records are available for higher management use in area of responsibility.
