The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work of apprentice, craftsman, and journeymen level employees engaged in testing, inspecting, and repairing utility distribution systems consisting of high temperature/high pressure steam and condensate lines.

- →- Performs work planning responsibilities.
- →Plans use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a daily or by project basis and schedules work according to established standards. - Performs work direction responsibilities.
- →Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes. - Performs administration responsibilities.
- →Develops standards for workers relating to quality and quantity of work.
- →Advises employees of performance expectations and explains new work techniques, as required. - Provides a work environment that is free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
- →Supports the agency's EEO program through allocation of personnel to participate in community outreach and recruitment programs, ensures full cooperation of employees with EEO office officials. - Ensures education in, compliance with, and practice of security directives, good safety, and health habits in all work areas.
