About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Bassett Army Community Hospital in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.
What You'll Do
- →Plan and lay out work utilizing blueprints or sketches as provided.
- →Determine required tools and estimate the amount of plumbing materials and equipment necessary to complete work assignments.
- →Install, repair, maintain, and replace steam lines, valves, radiators, heaters, storage and condensate tanks, steam tables, sterilizers, steam traps, control fittings, expansion joints, steam pressure cookers, etc.
- →Plan and lay out work in accordance with required code, work orders, engineer's drawings, and technical manuals.
- →Perform a full range of work involved in preventative maintenance, repair, overhaul, and adjustment of plumbing, pumping, heating, and kitchen cooking systems.
- →Provide troubleshooting and analyze defects.
