Physician - Spinal Cord Injury

About the Role
This position is intermittent, which means there are no set hours or days scheduled on a regular basis. VA New Jersey Health Care System (VANJHCS) in East Orange, NJ is recruiting a physician (MD or DO) with experience in caring for patients with spinal cord injury or disorders, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Multiple Sclerosis (MS), or who has formal training in Spinal Cord Medicine.
What You'll Do
- →DUTIES: The position involves providing day-to-day medical care to individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI) and related disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- →This includes caring for patients with traumatic and non-traumatic SCI, multiple sclerosis, and ALS.
- →Responsibilities also include supervising Rutgers New Jersey Medical School students, residents, and fellows.
- →Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted license in any state and demonstrate excellent diagnostic and interpersonal skills, a commitment to team building, and strong aptitude for leadership, educational development, and research.

Requirements
