About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
What You'll Do
- →Evaluate imaging results and consults with the interdisciplinary clinical and research staff regarding findings to assist and direct clinical care plans, and achieve clinical and research objectives.
- →Provide consultation report of the radiologic diagnostic examination, delivering interpretation of the study and the diagnosis of the radiographic examination to the clinician.
- →Interpret general diagnostic imaging modality exams to include MRI, CT, Ultrasound, plain film, fluoroscopy, mammography and nuclear scintigraphy.
- →Direct supporting employees during the performance of scheduled or emergency care procedures to include biopsies and abscess drainages.
- →Advise on kind and quantity of radiological supplies and equipment, the capability of available resources, and future needs.
