About the Role
The Primary Care Physician position for the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN serves as primary care physician for a limited panel of patients.
What You'll Do

- →MAJOR DUTIES: Reports directly to the Chief Medical Officer, Primary Care and Community Medicine at James H.

- →Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the James H.
- →Quillen VAMC.
- →Maintains clinical proficiency and familiarity with the Computerized Patient Record System while providing continuity of care for a panel of patients.
- →Establish and maintain a collegial relationship with other clinic staff.
- →Maintains a safe environment for staff and patients conducive to maintaining patient satisfaction and staff morale.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
