About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service 1-Year Fellowship in Transfusion Medicine is preferred.
What You'll Do
- →Provide transfusion medicine services.
- →Oversight of blood donations and creating FDA approved blood products.
- →Provide expert consultation and consults with clinicians concerning complex pathological diagnoses.
- →Participate in Quality Improvement activities of the laboratory.
- →Teach Physician residents.
- →Provide surgical pathology, cytology, and autopsy service.
