About the Role
About the Position: This position is with Fort Carson, CO. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a board-certified physician (obstetrics and gynecology) performing inpatient and outpatient diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- →Provide prenatal and postnatal care and perform deliveries in maternity cases.
- →Treat diseases and injuries of female reproductive system, including performing major open and laparoscopic surgical procedures.
- →Provide accurate, complete, and timely documentation of all medical care provided.
- →Serve as clinical preceptor for other professional providers which may include other Physicians, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners.
- →Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries, operative deliveries, laceration repair, management of postpartum hemorrhage and other obstetric complications.
