About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at WINN Military Hospital, Fort Stewart, GA. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
What You'll Do
- →Provide services of an Emergency Medicine Physician to patients in the Emergency Room.
- →Examine patients and order appropriate tests to evaluate patient's chief, and related complaints.
- →Perform authorized emergency procedures.
- →Provide professional guidance and direction to physician assistants, Nurse Practitioners and physician assistant students working in the Emergency Room.
- →Participate in departmental and hospital performance improvement activities and make recommendations on improvement of work methods, organizational features and the restructuring of positions.
