About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Physicians Assistant at the Fort Belvoir Hospital. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Provide primary health care on a routine and emergency basis.
- →Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
- →Develop treatment plans.
- →Evaluate diagnostic studies.
- →Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within authorized privileges.
- →Coordinate patient care with other team members including nursing, clerical, pharmacy, social worker, etc.
- →Participate in daily huddles with the team staff.
