About the Position: This position is located with the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, Sport Medicine, in Camp Pendleton, California Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of professional direct health care clinic duties within the field of Sport Medicine.
- →Perform health assessments, deployment health assessment, separation physicals, commissioning physicals and retirement physicals.
- →Gather health and medical history from the patient or family member to record findings.
- →Order laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures to complete assessment of the patient.
- →Prescribe for and treat a variety of diseases, disorders and injuries.
- →Provide consultation, teaching, and coordination with patients and their family members of treatment and medical care.
