The Assistant Chief of Staff for Clinical Operations provides executive leadership, administrative oversight, and clinical guidance across all clinical programs within the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System. The Assistant Chief of Staff for Clinical Operations serves as a principal advisor to the Chief of Staff (COS) and Medical Center Director and is responsible for supporting the execution of the facility's strategic goals promoting operational excellence and enhancing Veteran-centered care.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
