About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position is located at the Naval Health Clinic Quantico Resource Management Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
What You'll Do
- →Perform Physical Therapist Assistant duties using advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy.
- →Carryout daily treatment tasks independently within general supervisory guidelines.
- →Deliver physical therapy-guided care for patients with a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
- →Use prescribed modalities such as diathermy, hydrotherapy, massage, electro-therapy, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercise.
- →Teach patients and families how to follow home programs, observe precautions, and use therapy modalities safely.
- →Complete data collection for workload, research, and statistical reporting.
- →Maintain proficiency by studying new techniques, literature, and research.
