About the Role
The Pharmacy service line is looking for one Pharmacy Technician to join there team at the Eastern Oklahoma VA Healthcare System (EOVAHCS).
What You'll Do
- →Complete all application requirements detailed in the "Required Documents" section of this announcement.
- →Required to have principles, practices, concepts, and theories providing for sound independent work.
- →Responsible for the computerized prescription process and input of prescriptions and medication orders or electronic equivalent.
- →Resolves pharmacy/medication issues with other members of the healthcare team, Veterans, and external customers.
- →Trains developmental pharmacy technicians and students.
- →Dispenses medication or sterile products following all regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure safe medication distribution.
- →Troubleshot automated dispensing equipment (ADE) or technology platforms/databases.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; Shifts Vary and will be discussed with supervisor.

Requirements
