About the Position: This position is located at Naval Health Clinic New England, Newport, Rhode Island A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Determine type of substance, strength, dosage, and quantity to be dispensed.
- →Receive, review, prepare, fill, and dispense physician orders for prescriptions.
- →Enter prescriptions into outpatient computer system.
- →Obtain the pharmaceutical, prepare package labels, and set up for review.
- →Provide customer service to patients and staff.
- →Take steps to rectify discrepancies as they are found.
- →Maintain and clean assigned medication filling and dispensing stations.
